Driver

STAR Transit is currently seeking part-time drivers. Drivers must possess a current class C driver’s license or a class C commercial driver’s license with a passenger endorsement and a current DOT medical examination certificate. We also require a 10-year driving history which can be obtained for $10.00 from WYDOT/Driver’s License located at 3200 Elk Street or from the state your driver’s license is issued.

Dispatcher

Start transit is currently seeking a part-time dispatcher. The dispatcher directs and coordinates the dispatching operations to ensure timely, dependable and cost-effective transportation for the citizens of Sweetwater County. The duties of the dispatcher involve the exercise of discretion and independent judgement. Dispatchers are cross trained as drivers and must possess a current Class C Driver’s license and 10-year driving history(See Driver Job Description above).
